According to Aftonbladet of 29 May the Swedish government will leave Haga Palace in Solna by the end of August, so that Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling will receive the keys to their future home around 1 October. The renovation of the palace will then begin and is scheduled to be completed in early June 2010, just in time for the wedding on 19 June. A private kitchen and rooms for children will be installed and security measures implemented. The western railings will be supplemented by a similar railing 90 metres to the west of the palace. This means that the public walkway leading past the palace will have to be moved towards the water.
