Crown Princess Victoria gains a BA degree

The Swedish Royal Court today announced that Crown Princess Victoria has gained the degree “fil. kand.”, roughly corresponding to a Bachelor of Arts degree, from the University of Uppsala. The Crown Princess has over the years taken various courses at the universities of Stockholm, Uppsala and Yale, which combined make up a fil. kand. degree in peace and conflict issues. The Crown Princess is only the third member of the Bernadotte dynasty to get an academic degree, following in the footsteps of her sister Princess Madeleine and her great-uncle Prince Sigvard.
