Thousands of people turned out for the International Workers' Day celebrations in a warm and sunny Oslo today. As usual in general elections year the main address was given by the leader of the Labour Party, Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg. Among the other speakers was the leader of the Socialist Left Party, Finance Minister Kristin Halvorsen. The pictures show the parade past the Parliament Building, the packed Young’s Square, the Prime Minister speaking and Jens Stoltenberg and Kristin Halvorsen walking at the head of the parade.
