Between 19 March and 31 October next year the Queen’s Gallery in London will show a large exhibition on Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, titled “Victoria & Albert: Art & Love”. The years between their engagement in 1839 and the Prince Consort’s death in 1861 will be at the focus of the exhibition, which will also highlight the importance art played in their relationship.
