This month’s issue of the British magazine Majesty (vol 30, no 5) has an article on Lennart Bernadotte by Coryne Hall, best known for her biography of the Empress Dagmar. The article is rather dry and gives a chronological summary of the life of the former Prince of Sweden, but ignores many of the most important aspects of his life and work.
Another article on a Bernadotte can be found in the latest issue of the Swedish magazine Queen (no 3-2009), which spends seven pages on Queen Astrid of the Belgians. The article is by Christofer Brask and is quite good, but it could have done without some rather far-fetched comparisons with Princess Diana.
