engagement of Prince William of Britain and Kate Middleton was treated as the second coming of Diana by the Norwegian media, which immediately declared the future princess “the new Diana” – as one could read for instance on the covers of the weeklies
Se og Hør and
Hjemmet. Having grown tired of being asked that question I have written a piece for the tabloid
VG, which after a severe delay appears in today’s edition, where I point out the many big differences between the late Princess of Wales and Kate Middleton, thus showing why the latter is obviously not the new Diana.
