In the wake of the expenses scandal engulfing the British Parliament several newspapers today speculate over a possible Cabinet reshuffle after the local and European Parliament elections on 4 June. Peter Mandelson, a former foe who has become a close advisor to Gordon Brown since his return to Cabinet a year ago, is tipped to become Foreign Secretary, while Tony Blair's last Foreign Secretary, Margaret Beckett, who was removed from the Cabinet when Brown became PM, is also expected to make a return.
